In Response to Nicole Rutigliano: Infomercials

I feel that infomercials can be very catching mostly because of how long they can be and some of the interesting products that are advertised in them. Most of the time I watch an infomercial I think about purchasing the product yet I never do or will do in the future. The is something about them that I don't trust. Why are these products only sold only on infomercials and not in stores? Some of these commercial are just way too long, it is unnecessary. I wonder why people use infomercials over other kinds of commercials.
